A WEEK in Review

I wanted to share my last week in pictures with you!
I’m sorry I ignored you this week friends! It was just one of those weeks where you blink and it’s gone! I have a lot of exciting things going on though.

First and foremost, check out the guest post I wrote on the Pacific Northwest Blogger Holiday Party for Sarah at Will Run for Pasta because she and it are awesome, I worked really hard to take some good pictures, and at least I’m updating somebody’s blog!! 😉

WHEN THIS IS A HYPERLINK, MY GUEST POST IS UP

And now, my WEEK in review… (after the jump)….

Before I go on, please note that all of these pictures were taken by iPhones and likely played with in Instagram. Ok, now that that’s out of the way…Last weekend I did a 2 mile run in the southwest with Macey and Kayla (L to R), (which doesn’t sound very far but was super hilly!) We ran to Starbucks for a warm coffee and then walked back to Kayla’s together…you know when it ends in coffee and is with good people, it hardly seems like work!
Last Saturday evening we got to join Mackenzie in celebrating her 5th birthday! There were a lot of tu-tus, cupcakes, and balloons! SO much fun! I cannot believe how big she and her sister are getting.

This week flew right past me, and before I knew it I was sitting at a table surrounded by wonderful bloggers learning about SEO and drinking coffee from what I’ve deemed my new “work cup.” A huge thanks to Jenni at A Well Crafted Party for the much needed blogging mug 🙂
Saturday I also ran 4.5 miles with Kayla for the first time…ever. I am suddenly a long distance runner! (ow). We did the 4.5 mile run to prepare me for a 5 mile Turkey Trot I am going to be participating in on Thanksgiving Day.

And yesterday we had our nieces (pictured three spots above) and decided to go out to the park to enjoy one of the last days of fall, even if it was cold and rainy.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Do you have any traditions (like this turkey trot my become), that you enjoy doing with or without family?

It was nice to see you and chat again on Saturday! I’m glad to hear your 4.5 mile run went well {or you at least finished it!!} 🙂 I’m going to download that app and try it out the next time I go, which will hopefully be soon!

What a color blog. Glad I finally got on the feed myself and get connected. I run, too, and am looking for a few low-key races to participate in. I’ve done a 5K and 10K, but I mostly just go to have fun and finish with a sense of accomplishment. I’ll look forward to your post on how the Turkey Trot race goes. Everyone should do a Turkey Trot!

Running in this weather, that takes a certain kind of dedication, Bravo! I love your instagram pics, I pretty much only use my iphone for photos for the time being and I think they take pretty good shots. And i am a sucker for the instagram filters. You should check out afterglow if you haven’t already 🙂 Excited to hear how the Turkey Trot goes! Have a great thanksgiving Bee!
