ALL MONTH LONG
Yes, you’ve already heard me talk about this–but that’s besides the point! If you are hosting family in town or planning an evening out with your better half, this year’s Portland Dining Month features restaurants for all tastes and is an extremely affordable special night out!

If you’ve ever wanted to see me at my happiest–you will find me at the Portland Fruit Beer Fest this weekend! Hosted at Burnside Brewery, this event will feature some exciting experimental beer and a few amazing collaborations (Bushwhacker Cidery and Upright Brewing especially)! I also have seen a lot about Breakside Brewery‘s Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Beer prep; let me just say it looks very interesting.

Saturday, June 22nd
Saturday, June 22nd

Calling all lovers of cider! Did you know that Cider Summit has arrived? For under $30 you get 8 tasting tickets, a complimentary logo glass, and free re-entry to enjoy the event in its entirety. The event takes place at Elizabeth Caruthers Park, and over 60 ciders will be sampled .Not in town that weekend? Cider Summit also has dates booked for Seattle and Chicago! Check out their website for more information.
Thursday, June 27th
If you’re a sake fan like me you’ve got to get moving to the Sake Fest hosted at the Governor Hotel at the end of June. Sake has a special place in my heart because it’s gluten-free and packs quite the wallop in small mounts, and just think what 100+ samples of sake, plum wine, and beer will do! Maybe take the Max to this event so you can thoroughly enjoy yourself. Tickets grant you access, a SakeMoto logo glass, tastings, and it also sounds like the opportunity to enjoy some local cuisine as well. Check out the Pour List.
Always on the prowl for the next big event in Portland? I find many an activity through Yelp’s Events Page.
Are we friends on Yelp? Remember, there are many posts I make through Yelp that might not make it on this site (due to multiple factors–time being one of them)–so make sure to follow me there if you’re looking for local Portland reviews and finds!
